As an infusion: Pour boiled water over 1-2 tsp Stinging Nettle Leaf per glass and steep for 2-3 minutes. Infusion created this way has a preventive effect and is less thick. If brewed for around 10 minutes, it gets a much more intense taste and smell, its diuretic properties are also intensified. The tea should have a light yellow colour with a tinge of green and a strong, acrid and bitter taste. It has a cooling effect. It is recommended to drink the infusion on an empty stomach, once a day and without sugar. You can try to improve the taste of this drink by mixing it with Lemon Balm Leaf or Stevia Powder The infusion can be also used for mouth rinsing. It can be also added to scrambled eggs, bread rolls, bread and so on. You can serve it the same way as spinach by adding it to soups, dips etc. To hair wash: Put 20-30 grams of Stinging Nettle Leaf into a pot and pour 3 litres of water into it. Cook it over a low heat and bring it to boil. Leave for 5 minutes to steep. Strain it and, after cooling down, pour the solution over hair, do not rinse off, leave it on hair. As a bath for feet: Pour 2 litres of water over 15-20 grams of Stinging Nettle Leaf and leave for a night. Next day, bring it to boil. Pour the hot solution into a basin and soak your feet for 20 minutes. A cold solution can be also used for swollen feet. Stinging Nettle Leaf pâté: Mix half a glass of finely chopped Stinging Nettle Leaf with the same amount of Yarrow Herb, 4 tablespoons of natural yoghurt and 4 tablespoons of cottage cheese.
